Swan Song is a fitting farewell to Nantucket from Elin Hilderbrand, blending mystery, scandal, and emotional depth. When a wealthy couple disappears under suspicious circumstances, the island is thrown into turmoil, exposing secrets that ripple through the tight-knit community. Hilderbrand masterfully weaves multiple perspectives, balancing intrigue with heartfelt moments. The shocking death of a beloved character adds weight to the story and highlights the cost of chasing the truth. A bittersweet, captivating end to an era—both for the characters and for longtime fans of Hilderbrand’s Nantucket universe.

I enjoyed reading this and liked the mystery but found a few elements of it to be bothersome. But it was a good summer read and concluded the series well, so it served its purpose.
slow-paced

I am new to Hilderbrand but of the few books of hers I have read this doesn't measure up to the others. Decent enough storyline but I don't know if the motive was strong enough for me. It also felt like Hilderbrand consulted with some Gen Z'ers and threw in current pop culture references and slangs very frequently.
