This is the second book by Jasmine Warga that I have read - the other being The Shape of Thunder. The story - a girl from Syria, moves to America with her mother to get away from the fighting there. They live with the girl’s uncle and his family. The story tugs at the heartstrings, addressing such issues as racism and being separated from your culture and family.… A quick read, but a good read :-)
