This is a book I would skip. I picked it up off a shelf not realizing that it was from 2006, but I very quickly realized it was outdated based on the language regarding autism and other developmental conditions. I got it because the Nightingale is one of my favorite books but Hannah's earlier works are not up to those standards.

Listened to this on Audible and I loved it! I loved the character development and how the timeline was told. There were a few parts the story drug on a bit but it all came together at the end!
