The third book in the Red Queen series and I enjoyed this one a lot more than the second one, it felt closer to the first one.
I really enjoy the depth of all the main characters in this book and getting the opportunity to get a better sense of some of the other players was good. However, I really didn't enjoy the additional points-of-view of Cameron and Evangeline, but I understand why Aveyard picked to tell the story that way.
I am looking forward to book 4.

Mare Barrow has been captured by Maven Calore, the vengeful Silver prince/ jealous ex-fiancé.
Once again being used as a pawn in Maven's quest for power, Mare faces constant psychological torment.
I loved this one, I am all for a morally grey character, and while I am not saying I would want Mare and Maven to end up together, (I think we are well beyond that) but being held captive by Maven forces her to confront her relationship with him.
This did not have the BAM ending like the two other books, but I am excited to see how this set up will carry through in the final book!

Meh. Pretty boring, definitely takes a step into older YA territory, which is fine but not how the first 2 were handled which makes the story a bit uneven. Wouldn't read the next one.
