Una historia corta pero con un mensaje poderoso sobre el poder, la política y lo que estamos dispuestos a hacer por "un bien mayor".
Nyma, nuestra protagonista, es una niña de 10 años críada para ser martir. En su cuerpo se encuentran los códigos para activar un arma de destrucción masiva, su única misión es servir de barrera moral ante el presidente que debería matarla si quiere obtener el control del arma.
La historia en sí es un juego de poderes entre la parte política y "La Orden" -que casi puede verse como un dogma religioso-, dónde Nyma es un peón. La narrativa maneja un buen balance en cuanto a los bandos, mostrandonos sus mejores y peores versiones, para que sea el lector quién tome la decisión de lo que es correcto o no.
Una buena lectura para quedarse pensando.

An incredibly beautiful but dark story to make us thought about the power and the politics in the world.
This is set in a dystopic world in which a leader feels that it is necessary to kill a child to use a terrible weapon.
Our MC, Nyma, is so well written that it's impossible not to feel her struggle between wanting to live and doing what she's been taught it's the right thing. And even if I have love-hate feelings toward Han and Tej, both are so well-rounded that I actually buy their intentions.
It's a really great story, short but powerful.
