This is a fun YA read. Although it seems a bit unrealistic it is entertaining. The author touches on some deep issues although not so much that they weigh the book down. If you are looking for a lighthearted read that takes place in a beautiful location, read this!

the book was a bit unbelievable, especially towards the end but i had a lot of fun reading it and i was entertained throughout. i really enjoyed seeing the dynamics between the characters! sharlotgeorge my beloveds forever <3

This was another fun read! Sharlot is visiting Indonesia for the first time and George is struggling to find himself in his family business. Both of their parents think they should be dating “the right person” and after a catfish orchestrated by both of their parents (independently of each other!) Sharlot and George find themselves in a the middle of a fake dating trope.

This book definitely is skewed more towards a YA audience/theme and the behaviour of some of the characters reflect that, but if you embrace it, it’s a cute story.
