Always an easy and fast read but I feel like this one and the third one almost had too much action. It was too much going on! Still a good reason - wouldn't suggest reading these back to back.

Who's ready for a fourth installment of Teagan Frost?? After just saving a bunch of San Franciscans from a nightmare flash flood, you would think Teagan would get the chance to rest. But of course, you'd be wrong. Not only is her best friend Annie in a coma at the hospital, but her long-lost brother and sister - yeah, the ones she thought were dead - are in town, and they're trying to get their hands on Teagan. On top of all that, her terrifying boss Tanner has taken charge of the day-to-day running of China Shop, and they've got a new gig protecting a US Senator at a conference in a swanky old hotel. Oh, and did I mention that Teagan's PK powers are on the fritz? Yeeeahhh, it's that kind of week...

I love love LOVE this series, and this did not disappoint. Teagan is such a fun, irreverent heroine and I've really enjoyed the (slight) growth her character has experienced through each of the books. I honestly can not say enough good things about this entertaining, action-packed series!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this awesome book.

This is a fun series. If you like laid back, sarcastic, witty characters then I think this is a book for you. The series is a perfect filler if you're not sure what to read. It's a light-hearted book that doesn't take itself too seriously. That being said, there are moments where darker subjects and themes are touched upon giving more depth to the read.

It has an easy readability and a great narrative voice. The book is a contemporary sci-fi, I'd say. So we get a sci-fi book that's not too heavy to read and based in our world and in our own time-line.

I can't wait for the next installment of this series.

Tegan is in the hospital by her friends bedside and the last people she is expecting to run into are her dead siblings.

Tegan is a telekinetic government operative, but now finds herself in the middle of a hostage situation, her team skattered and her powers on the fritz.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
I wish I had know that this was book four of a series. I definitely would have enjoyed it more had I read the other three books. This books talked about people I didn’t know so there was definitely a disconnect.

It was still an enjoyable read, good writing and an interesting story.
This book had alternating POVs and one side of the story was definitely more interesting than the other.
While it worked ok as a stand alone I know I missed quite a bit.
