wilde's writing will just always do it for me, short stories included. i simply believe he's incredibly skilled in literally every form of writing ever. anyway, i thought these were super fun to read but also had a deeper meaning, which is something i like in a short story collection. personal favorite would be the fisherman and his soul ^_^

Though I still liked the collection a lot, they weren't my favourite of Wilde's short stories. They mimicked traditional fairy-tales more closely, and and in doing so lacked some of the original spark that makes Wilde's other stories so special.
