It's meticulously raw. You get to see Eileen being her, sad and self-centered self. Nevertheless, I come to really like the writing. I found it a bit tasking at first but I always have a soft spot for detailed POV. I find it fascinating that the author manages to capture how humane Eileen is with her flawed characteristic and how she lives her monotonous life. 

More on the plot, I think the end is

not really that satisfying. But isn't that appropriatefor Eileen? I think out of all endingsout there, this ending and her relationships with people is so unmistakably her.

 

Most importantly, be careful with the TWs.

 you have to be completely sick and twisted to enjoy this messed-up book, i mean come on, one fourth of the book consists of description of bowel movements ?? how is that appealing to you ? turns out, i am sick and twisted and i enjoyed it very much 💀
