frantically's review against another edition
While I loved the first book, I really had to force myself to get through this one. Especially Wren made such dumb and immature decisions that it felt more like middle grade instead of YA most of the time. As other reviewers have said, what really made the first book was the sibling relationship and as they are separated for most of the book, we totally miss that in this one.
