I enjoyed this much more than the first book. I really do like that there's a story within the story and we get to read it. As I'm in the middle of the Atticus book I forget that I'm reading a Susan Ryeland book. I'm excited for the next book in the series!

I love the narrators of these audiobooks. And I've loved every book by Anthony Horowitz so far. Can't wait f0r Susan Ryeland #3.
These are great mysteries in the classic Agatha Christie style and they are books within books.

3.5? I like Horowitz’s storytelling, but the book-within-a book conceit drags this mystery out way too much. I completely forgot what was going on in the main story and then was thoroughly tired of everything at 3/4 mark. I might start the TV series and skip the next book. Might be more fun onscreen.
