I spent all day reading this book and it went very fast but it was confusing at parts and felt predictable? but also completely unpredictable? I was not a fan of the main character and maybe thats a me thing but it made it annoying to read. like why are you believing every single thing girl. and then she would just do stuff without it really being smart at all or having any reservations about it. like the last 50 pages are really good and the reveals are good but like there is no way anyone could have fun with it or predict it or have hints of it at all. it felt like we were getting the story from a nearsighted, partially deaf, dumb person.

I would actually say I enjoyed this for the most part and could see the twist coming up but then towards the end of the book it just got a bit too far fetched for me which kinda put a downer on my experience of the book.
The positives were the fact that it was fast paced and only took me a couple of days to get through but I don’t think Freida is for me anymore but I would still recommend this

I have never read a book with such a dunce of a protagonist. It's almost as if the author was trying to win a contest.

I feel like the plot twist was good, but other than that, there wasn't much I enjoyed about the book. I feel like, until page 240, nothing really captivated me. Instead, Freida's "Ward D" was much stronger in terms of build-up.

Also, it really frustrated me that Brooke kept going between Shane and Tim. Like she would see Shane and think about how she should break up with Tim because she thinks he's dangerous, but then go back home to Tim and completely switch up and call him "The One". Girl. There's no way you just called the man who is a potential serial killer the love of your life.

Not her best. Without giving it away, this book was altogether too predictable, I mean, the ending was a bit of a surprise but I had mostly predicted the entire thing. I absolutely LOVE her books but I felt this one was ‘meh’.
