At 60% I would’ve rated this book 3 stars. It was okay but nothing I loved. Then it finally started really picking up speed. I really did like this book a lot!
At a few points I did a few big shocking gasps
mysterious tense medium-paced

The main character in this book is the dumbest fucking bitch I’ve ever come across in a book. Extra star cuz the twists were good, but my gosh. The insanity was driving me up the wall.

the fact that you told prisoners personal info about ur life is just plain stupid. but THEN you let ur ex bf who’s spent 11yrs in prison cuz YOU put him in there come live at ur home with ur child. & you thought you were gonna be one big happy family & he’d just let that shit go is a whole other level of stupid.

As the first book I’ve read by Frieda, this lived up to the hype! It was easy to digest and fast paced. And just when I thought I had it all figured out…. I didn’t! The only complaint I have is how easily swayed the FMC was between one “absolute” to the next, and I get that I played into the overall outcome, it was still very frustrating.
