The writing is way too juvenile for me. It gives me that fanfiction cringe. I don’t love YA anyway, so it’s not a stretch to say this isn’t for me.
One thing I really did hate though was how one of the main characters, Tyler, when his friend jokingly mentions the possibility that he might be interested in women, he says "Ew. No. Dicks only.” The friend suggests bisexuality, and Tyler doubles down on his trans-exclusion “No. I repeat, dicks only.” 🤮
