The lady who voiced the audiobook might have had an adverse affect on my opinion of this book. Too breathy and just annoying. Did not love.

But also one of my biggest problems with this one was the insane amount of internal thoughts between almost every bit of dialogue. I could be wrong but I seem to remember that in Archer’s Voice as well. I let it slide a bit more in terms of influencing my overall opinion because I found the story more interesting. This was boring af. It was probably 3 times longer than it needed to be. It it wasn’t an audiobook that I could increase the speed of the narrative (literally), I don’t think I would have finished it.

Mia Sheridan does it again. The beginning of her stories are always attention grabbing and entertaining. This one was no exception.

Aurora & Gage’s story had my attention the entire way through. This love was deeper than finding your forever person. Aurora had been looking for answers about her father’s identity for a long time. When she finally finds a good lead it takes her to a town with the one person she never thought she would see again.

Gage’s reaction to seeing her again was funny at the start but as the story progressed, he learned the truth about her appearance and made it his mission to help her. I had the greatest time reading this book and would definitely recommend it. It was funny, heartfelt and inspiring.

First off I just have to say thank you to Dreamscape Media for the audio arc. This narration was executed beautifully, the narrators really brought this story and its characters to life.

This book. OMG. This book. I don't know why I expected anything less than to be sobbing when reading a Mia Sheridan book. I am obsessed with Rory and Gage. It was so easy to immerse myself into their world and feel like I was firsthand watching their story unfold. I didn’t realize how much I missed being in Pelion since Archers Voice.

This story had a little bit of everything I love in a good romance novel; humour, yearning, angst, cute nicknames, defining the odds, a small town and an unexplainable pull towards someone.

I found myself laughing so much while falling in love with both of them individually, then as a couple. The way Gage is completely nuts and obsessed with Rory had me kicking my feet in the air. He is a sweet, simple man posing to be this perfect son who never fails in order to make his dad happy and carry in the family name/legacy UNTIL he meets Rory, a one night stand he cannot stop thinking about until she shows up in his town in search for clues of a dad she never met and joins her In her quest unable to stay away. In addition to the heartwarming and funny moments of these two falling for each other, there are several spicy scenes that did NOT disappoint!

The ending destroyed me and the epilogue had me in tears.

Lasty, Archer/Bree’s and Travis/Havens appearances was such a great delight. It was so beautiful seeing them with their cute little families
