Oh boy I thought I’d love this one but so many times I was bored.
This is an utterly captivating tale that had me hooked from the first page. The story unfolds beautifully, with characters that are both lovable and deeply relatable. Gage, in particular, is a standout – his complexities and growth throughout the novel are portrayed with such skill that you can't help but root for him.
The narrative is rich with emotion and the connections between characters feel authentic and heartfelt. I found myself genuinely invested in their journeys, celebrating their triumphs and feeling their sorrows. The ending was particularly satisfying, tying up the story in a way that felt just right.
That said, there were moments when the pace seemed to drag a bit. A few sections felt longer than necessary, slightly pulling me out of the immersive experience. However, this minor drawback doesn't overshadow the overall impact of the book.

This was a solid 3.5. Not my favorite Mia but still love her ability to write. There were moments of the book I didnt love, but other moments that made me feel so much. So many sweet moments-I love all the tender moments she can create in her writing. Again, not my

4.5 easily if not 5 ! Mia Sheridan did it once again. I couldn’t put this book down. I loved how it brought the reader back to Pelion and calliope. (If you read the other two) a sense of home. As well as getting cameos from the hales and Bree. I cried, I laughed, I kicked my feet while smiling. ☺️ it is a stand alone but having read archers voice and Travis I think it just sat differently. Truly a great storyline.
