slow-paced

This kills me because both Archers Voice and Travis I LOVE. They were easy 5 stars and I love Mia Sheridans writing but this book gave me the ick.

It is 376 pages long and 160 of those pages we are lead to believe they may be related. Half siblings. I'm sorry but no. Then to make it worse they list over each other while waiting on DNA results.

I couldn't do it. I read it to make sure they weren't related but I had the biggest ick ever. 42% of this book possible siblings lusted for each other. Hard no for me.

I wanted to love this one, I really really did. It was only okay for me though. To be honest, it felt a little anticlimactic. The secret of her father just ended with a big ole flop. I get why she chose that guy and how it ties the stories together but it just didn’t turn out to be nearly as exciting as what I was anticipating. Then add on the romance ending and it all felt like it worked up really well to a very mild ending.

This book didn’t really do much for me. It started off cute but didn’t love how there was the potential sibling aspect of it while they were both still talking about how they were attracted to each other. Confused why they couldn’t just use 23&me or something like that. Also didn’t love how gage proposed to Rory on Bree’s birthday. I didn’t feel like there was much character development honestly
