I was so excited to return to Pelion Lake! Rory and Gage are perfect for each other. I love that Rory helps Gage see his true dreams in life. The connection to the Hale's was amazing! Sad this series is over. It's one I'll definitely reread to return to it.

Falling For Gage is my first Mia Sheridan novel and I enjoyed it. This Contemporary small town romance is Gage and Rory's story and it's sweet, steamy and emotional with a bit of mystery included.

The chemistry, longing  and tension between Gage and Rory was evident from the start and theirs was an interesting love story. They were both from different worlds, each with their own issues but they did fit together perfectly.

I will admit, there were times in the story they both annoyed me as I felt some level of communication would have made things so much easier thereby avoiding the deception.

The writing was witty and engaging and had me fully engrossed especially when we got the unexpected twists. I enjoyed the mystery set up and search and loved the cast of secondary characters who provided support where needed.
This was an enjoyable read and I would recommend it to romance lovers.

I listened to this as an audiobook, narrated by Maeve York and Benjamin Sands. They did a wonderful job and had me fully engaged in the story. They brought Gage and Rory to life and their voices complimented each other.  It was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

It’s official. I’m obsessed with Mia Sheridan. Her style is magic to my SOUL, you guys! There were parts of this book that had me laughing so hard I cried, and then the way I started crying at the end?! Gut punched in the feels.

I finished this one way too quickly because I couldn’t stop reading and nearly finished it in one sitting. And now it’s over and I think I need to reread it because I love and adore Gage and his innate goodness in wanting to please everyone he loves at the price of his own happiness.

This book has a completely different vibe than Archer’s Voice and it’s a standalone, even though it takes place in the same universe. So even if you haven’t read Archer’s Voice (which you really must!) you will still love this one if you enjoy your romance with a twist of fate and destiny. Two thumbs up and 5-stars.

2.5 Stars

I loved Archer's Voice and Travis, 2 books that are linked to and predate Falling For Gage. Unfortunately this story just didn't live up to the others for me and I am gutted I didn't feel that same connection.

Falling for Gage is about Rory, a waitress at her family's bar in a small fishing town. She was raised by her uncle's after her Mother passed away and has never known who her Father was. One night Gage walks into her bar and they connect right away. After a one night stand she never thinks she will see him again. However fate has other ideas as she leaves her town to investigate who her Father is, she ends up in a town where Gage lives and their connection starts up anew.

I liked the general plot of the book, especially Rory's side, although I guessed who her Father was pretty early on which was unfortunate. Rory has a real lease of life and I loved her personality and her incredible love of dogs! She carried this book for me as unfortunately I found Gage to be rather boring and just wanted to shake him and tell him he's a grown man and to wake the hell up! Gage has a rather dull personality, especially compared to Archer and Travis in previous books. I saw what Mia wanted from his story but I don't think it was quite pulled off.
The chemistry between Rory and Gage was also a little lack lustre for my liking. I usually adore the couple/smut scenes but I found them lacking here. I did like how they brought out the best in each other though.
My favourite part of the book was seeing more about past characters and that shouldn't be the case. But it was lovely to see the Hale family and how they were getting on.

Overall, this is sadly my least favourite Mia Sheridan book to date and although I highly recommend Archer's Voice and Travis, I would actually recommend skipping this one.

Please note that I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
