I really enjoyed Rory and Gage’s story. I loved the way Rory knew things about Gage that even he wasn’t willing to admit. I loved the pull they felt to each other. I enjoyed the journey of finding out more about Rory. The banter was fun, and helped lighten the mood considering the heavier topics discussed, such as parent loss.

Thank you @dreamscape_media for the early access to this ALC & introducing me to @miasheridan . I loved this book so much & can’t wait to read her backlist!

Gage Buchanan has everything he could need in life, except someone to share it with. After sharing the night with Rory, a bartender three towns over, he is struggling to get her out of his mind. His life is then tossed upside down when Rory shows up in Calliope lying about who she is. Determined to find out what Game she's playing, Gage inserts himself into her life, threatening to expose her lies.
But when he finds out the reason she is in town, Gage can't help but be pulled into her story.

This is listed as a stand alone, but do yourself a favour and read Archers Voice and Travis before you start this one. Especially Archers voice. If you don't, you will be missing a pretty huge part of the story.

Loved this story, Gage was a favourite in Travis, so I was excited to read his story.
It was also nice to see an update on the other Pelion couples.
The little mystery of the paintings found among Rory’s mother’s belongings added a little intrigue to this contemporary romance. Definitely a fun read !

Read this if you are looking for a cozy small town romance.

Narrators Maeve York and Benjamin Sands did an excellent job bringing Rory and Gage to life.

Another great book in Pelion Lake series. Gage is raised to be the perfect son for his parents and it is on behalf of his own dreams. Rory is in a similar situation, stuck in a family-owned bar and trying hard not to be a burden to her uncles. They helped each other awake a desire to change their present lives and realized that their happiness matters as much as their loved ones. Per usual, the writing was very good and I also really liked that Archer, Bre, Travis and Haven were also part of this story. I felt emotional when the big reveal happened and that was probably the highlight of the whole book for me. The tension between Gage and Rory was perfect as with previous couples from Pelion Lake. Not as breathtaking as Archer's Voice, maybe even Travis, but still a very good engaging read.
