I enjoyed how this book tied up all the loose ends and had a satisfactory ending.

I enjoyed this book considerably more than the first! My previous complaint was there was not enough tension building and everything worked out with little emotion. This book I found myself excited and nervous at many different intervals! The reason this didn’t get 5 stars is (without spoiling anything) because I didn’t understand the actions of the Marie Ann. Her character felt circumstantial to Hazels story. Overall wonderful story!

Can our girl Hazel stop being so horny inside a grave?? 

I felt this book was much more focused on history and Easter eggs to have Hazel’s fingerprints all over it instead of an original story to follow our main girl and new adventures. And the love triangle… totally could’ve been explored more! 

Jack, my man!! The whole reason for him to stay away was kinda lame??? Their reunion was also lame?? And the whole get-back-together felt so rushed with zero of the sparks from the first book!
