I felt transported back to the 50s! The vibe of this book felt like “Last Night in SoHo,” jumping back and forth from the glamorous past and less-than-glamorous present. I found the past storyline far more interesting than the current storyline, which is why it isn’t ranked higher.

A great non-mystery mystery and exploration of how the more things change the more things stay the same for so many women.

The storyline was great. I enjoyed the back & forth between the two time periods. However, the main characters were somewhat unlikable for the majority of the time. Darby was obtuse. However, given her lack of experience with the opposite sex, it was somewhat understandable. Rose was blindsided and then just plain blind. All in all, though, a fun , quick read.
