I picked up this book because I was interested in learning about different symbiotic relationships between humans and animals. What I found was that this book bounces between advocating for the breed, grave warnings for those silly enough to employ a working breed in the current socioeconomic climate, and a basic care guide for the animal with few local legends sprinkled in. It's a labor of love, but it's a niche market. No one's picking this book up for light reading, but if you're searching for literature on this breed specifically, it won't disappoint. I had just hoped for more Inuit input.
