I was so looking forward to this last book in the series and to see the conclusion of the serial strangler case that has gone on throughout the series. I did get that conclusion, but it wasn't what I expected. The paranormal element was back in this one and while I enjoy reading the genre, I don't see that it added anything to this story. I understand that there is a spin-off series where the paranormal is prevalent, but having not read that one, I was left scratching my head at times. I almost felt cheated after reading how much effort the detectives put into this case. On a brighter note, it was good to see Naomi finally find her happiness.
