4.5. I liked it but I felt like it took a really long time to get to the plot twist and then it was kind of rushed.

This was a weird book for me: hyped from the very beginning as I had seen a few reviews saying it was one of the best thriller books; however, I started it during a reading slump. I brought it with me on my travels and it was very interesting but nothing too out of the ordinary. Though it wasn’t all that predictable, I wasn’t constantly thinking about it or wanting to read more and more. Regardless, it’s some times hard within this genre to find books that capture your attention  enough and fortunately this was one of the good ones.

Wow!!! Once I picked it back up after a few months I didn’t put it down!!!! Crazy twisty (and I got high when reading the end so a little confusing for a bit hahaha) but really good!

More of a slow burn for me but thoroughly enjoyed all the twists! I was stunned after finishing the book.

Adam and Amelia arrive at a remote Scottish chapel for a weekend getaway and strange things start happening. Twist 1: Amelia is second wife, Robin is scorned first wife. Twist 2: Robin is Henry Winter's daughter. Twist 3: Amelia was involved with the death of Adam's mom. Robin kills her with scissors. Twist 4: Adam was driving the car that killed his mom. Robin and Adam get back together and the chapel might actually be haunted.

Just far, far too implausible for me.
