It was weird! Like the whole story shifted somewhere else
I was confused!

Thought this one was the final in the series. Crud. I feel like it's a bit drawn out, I will finish the series, but taking a break for now.

Not as good as the first one, but still good.

Honestly, not nearly as good as the first book. Nothing really happened until the very end. The dialogue felt stagey (um... Queen Lulu, anyone?). I will probably read the next book when it comes out, but I'm disappointed.

A very good book. Personally I don't think it's quite as strong as its predecessor. This is because it feels a bit rushed. It's shorter, but not due to a lack of plot lines. To be honest, the book could probably have been split into two if it was bulked out like most other novels.
It feels like Paige was incredibly excited about writing all of the dramatic scenes, which is why those scenes are brilliant. However, the result is a lack of background. Almost every chapter is fast paced and intense, allowing little space to actually show character development. The plot twists dominate the book, limiting how well the characters are shown.
Saying all this, I still really loved the book, it just felt a little rushed and overcrowded.

less entertaining than the first book

Enjoyable. Maybe not so much as the first one.

not as good as the first one. still enjoyable and a good read, but a little all over the place. i hope the third book will be better again.

That is it! No more YA series until the whole series is released. I don't know if I disliked this book so much because I lost all connection between the release of the first and second book or if this book just lost the fun of the first. Ugh.

Not my favorite of the series. Probably the dullest with the exception of Amy and Nox finally confronting some feels. I really did enjoy seeing more of OZ though.
I just felt like this was drawn out. The ending made for a great twist though! So I'm on the fence on this one.
