She lost her faith in God as a child after witnessing her mother struggle financially and prayed frequently. Her prayer life improved after experiencing the loss of her husband. She’s passionate about racial reconciliation and asked God to work on her issues with Caucasian females by bringing one into her life and they eventually became close friends. Biggest highlight-the goal of praying isn’t to get something but to get closer to God.
