I liked this book a lot, I just didn't love it. It is a rather slow-paced book, with all of it's teas and parties and other socialites. Emma is very naive at the beginning of this story but grows to be wiser and better. She learns valuable life lessons; and consequently, so does the reader. These lessons include: respecting your elders, not messing in other people's love lives, and Price Charming isn't always who you think it is going to be.

Another favorite from Jane Austen.

I should dislike Emma; she should come off as quite unlikable due to her ego and know-it-all attitude, but I found it endearing at times. Perks to Austen for making Emma amusing. I had a lot of laughs because of Emma's obliviousness. She was a fool who thought she knew everything.
