It’s a really interesting concept for a book but it’s writing is so terrible and the audiobook narrators so bad it’s a struggle to get through.

I really liked the first book in this series, but I thought it drug on a bit too long and the action scenes in particular were overdone. Lore obviously heard my complaint and addressed that issue in this second installment. The action was much tighter and the plot was paced very well between the different characters and storylines. The addition of the new characters and narrators was a good move, especially since one of the main characters died in the previous book. Those positives don't completely outweigh the fact that I am not completely emotionally invested in the characters. I like them, but I don't love them. Still, a story that is enjoyable and well worth a read.

Another engaging story right to the very end. The story of number 4 and number 6 continues as they search for the rest of the remaining Guarde and continue to battle Mogs.

This was a good sequel to I am number four. I liked the way that it was in both number four and number seven's point of view. It was like getting two stories at the same time. The two different fonts was amazing.

Adelina annoyed me from the beginning, however I like that all the female Garde members so far are very strong women. They stand up for themselves and finds ways to fight and go on. Adelina gave up, but somewhat comes to her senses in the end.

I am glad Marina found Ella, Hector and Crayton. They are great additions to the story. I would like to hear a little more about Crayton in the following books.

Number four was getting into a world of his own trouble. He let Sarah and love distract him from the goal and now may not find Six. There was no need for the love triangle in this book, however it lead to an interesting situation at the end. How are they ever going to meet up again. Most of the main characters are out fighting their won battles right now. Four and nine, Sam, and Six with seven and ten.

I can not wait to meet the rest of the Garde. This series has me hooked.
