A great ending to Kel's story! Enjoyed rereading it. Wish there was more.

This was my favourite because it had lots of action and was fast paced which was good. I liked the ending but even though I found the story interesting it’s just not enough to get 5 stars.

I think this was the best one of this quartet!

A nice and fitting end to Kel's series. The author manages to deliver a world that feels real while telling a straightforwards, unadorned story -- and this is meant in the positive way. There are no unnecessary errands in the storytelling; it's a neat, tight package with an inspiring protagonist.

Read for the first time as an adult - with friends!

General thoughts: Reading experience was top tier, but that's only partially due to the book. Kel is thankfully not as dumb as Alanna. Pacing is still wildly uneven (especially at the end!), but not as bad as previous books. Good lessons, and an excellent book for kids/young adults to read.

I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who even remotely enjoys adventure, magic, and the power of kindness! It's a wonderful blend between Harry Potter and GoT, but could be enjoyed by younger audiences as well as old. I'm so happy I read them :)
