This was so so so good. I don't want to leave Kell! Although I will always love Diane, Kel is definitely one of my favorite character's of Pierce's.

Fantastic series, one through four! Don't misjudge the YA themed covers. This final book brings Kel (wonderful character) to full maturity as a Knight to deal with a brutal war, true evil, death and all their consequences. I didn't want it to end and hope that one day, we may see more adventures with the Protector of the Small.
