What a thrilling finale to a fantastic series. Keladry’s final stage of character growth was great to witness, as well as the final battle to defeat the biggest enemy yet.

Pierce wrote some of the most heartbreaking scenes I’ve ever read in this book, and I’ve never wanted to hurt an antagonist so so so bad.

I only wish there were another book in the series… or two… or three… mainly because the final line of the epilogue made me wish I could witness one more happy event in Keladry’s life, though I realize it was never necessary.
