I love to romanticize Italy, sue me. It's my first time encountering a change in perspectives instead of chapters so that's new. It's a good shut-your-brain-off read, no need to be so crazy about everything. It actually fits what I've been wanting in a book with the state of life right now.

I love Maeve Binchy. Light, delightful, uplifting. One of my favorite genres: Stories about flawed people who find each other through serendipity and turn out to be just what each other needed.

A book that felt made for me. Set primarily in Ireland but also in Italy, this book takes its sweet time getting toward wherever it is going, but it's a lovely amble. I felt fiercely protective of everyone in the class and wished I could join.

I remember liking this book when I read it. Binchy does a great job of integrating the character's lives through the guise of an Italian Class.
