Ok hear me out. This book gave a lot of things but one of the things it kept giving was privilege. It's really hard to feel bad for a very, very very rich white man. That being said, there are moments in this book that truly make me feel bad for the life he had to lead. There are other moments though that make me want to scream because seriously these are "first world" problems. Ultimately, I feel like it gave some insight into the royal family, however that much in this book that I didn't already figure from just watching how they interact with each other.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I took my time reading it so I could absorb Harry’s story. I always loved Diana and I have followed the Royal Family over the years. I’m so sorry that Harry and Megan were treated that way. That they felt there only option for a safe and happy life was to leave England. I wish that they find all of the happiness in the world. I hope that Harry and Will, will someday be able to be close again as there mum would want them to be. I know that Diana would be proud of Harry and his Beautiful family. She would love all of the charity work that he has done
Prince Harry tells all in the memoir that was written and read by the author, himself. From the very public image of two motherless children walking behind their mothers coffin to the harassment experienced as he is and Megan try to find their own way in the works and eventually become disenfranchised from Royal Family, this is a emotional tale of Prince Harry’s public life.
I wasn’t sure I wanted to read this, but was convinced to read it from reviews on Instagram. Not being a follower of the Royal Family and living the US it is pretty easy to ignore the Royal Family’s activities. And I guess I can say after reading this is was defiantly not part of the problem. I do feel that the Royal Family should have acknowledged the mental health of their kids after the death of their mom, and gotten them help early on The things might have gone differently. With that being said, the buzz words and what appeared to be very scripted mental health language that appeared to be straight from his therapists office, turned me off a little while listening to the book. I was unaware that he fought in Afghanistan, and was happy that service provided the structure and discipline that helped him to become more grounded. I felt that he was most real, and his writing was the best, when speaking of his relationship with Megan and wish them all the best. I will probably continue to live my own life across the pond with little to no further knowledge of the Royal Family.

Not what I expected but better. I see now why he is protecting his family by giving interviews and releasing this book. Will never click on an "analysis" article about the Royal Family again. He read the audiobook - definitely recommend because can hear the emotions.

I enjoyed hearing his narrative from him rather than official palace releases or tabloids. I especially liked learning about the times he spent in Botswana. Listening to him read the audiobook was enjoyable and entertaining. A couple spots were a bit slow.
Ngl, I loved this one. Kudos to Harry and Meghan for breaking free!! Can’t wait to see what they do.
