So juicy. So sad. So confusing. So personal. So riveting.
Overall, I am clearly far too American to understand the implications of everything that was said. I’ll just say it was a fascinating and quick read. Best paired with a full binge of The Crown on Netflix and no other information if you can help it. Makes it all that much more insane.

Listened on audio. A long time commitment, but I found hearing his story in his own words so interesting and honestly sad in many instances. I enjoyed hearing about his military experiences, and of course his live story with Megan

What a book!
Honestly, I don’t remember enjoying any memoir as this one.
I have purchased it out of pure curiosity and need for something to ‘binge’ after “Meghan and Harry” Netflix series, but I ended up with an amazing non-fiction piece that was very much needed in this insane world.
I love when that happens!
Just a friendly advice:
Don’t read it if you expect some juicy gossip, or shocking story about the royal family. Don’t read it if you expect a love story or fairy tale.
This books if for the ones that strongly believe and understand belief in their own principles and their true path. It will make an impact on a reader who understands that when a person wants to break out of outdated family principles and expectations of the society, it needs to go to an extraordinary lengths to achieve such goal.
Every story told in each chapter sends an amazing message. You don’t have to be born into a royal family to be ‘the odd one out’. Many have experienced the same, but Harry actually shares how he coped with being different and how he ‘read the signs on the road’. Truly amazing.
The rest of the story just confirms that perseverance and a little bit of luck leads to happiness and piece.
Bravo!
