I liked this book, but it fell a little short compared to the others. However, it was still a good read that had me up until 5 am. The plot just felt oddly rushed and slow at the same time. I would have loved to spend a little more time with the characters off the rink. I know it's a book about hockey, but this one seemed to have a bit more technical jargon that had me skimming a few sections. That's just a personal preference, though. I'm sure those who know hockey a bit better enjoyed those bits! Either way, I still had fun spending time with Nico and Ryan!

This is by far my favorite of the series. Is it well written? No. Is it well edited? No. Honestly, I couldn’t care less.

Nico is precious, and I would kill for him. He has never done anything wrong in his life, and I will protect him. Like Ryan says, I want to wrap Nico up in a blanket and cuddle him.

Literally, Nico is the greatest thing in the whole series.

Nico & Ryan. Very cute! I love a bi/gay awakening story so coming into it, i wasn’t as keen on this book as i was on the first one. But I quickly fell in love with the in-his-head Nico and the sunshine personality of Ryan. There is a third act break up. I liked how the story features characters from the first book - mainly Kitty & Tom Yorkshire but we also get to see Dante and Gabe again (and they’ve got a baby!!). Overall, cute and enjoyable
