An exciting book full of adventure!
I loved Percy and Annabeth more and more by every chapter I read from their POVs.
I started to like the other demigods as well. I know, I had 3 books to like them but Percy just overshadows them. Which is a good thing for me because Percy will forever be my favorite demigod ever.
My heart aches for Nico and Leo. I don’t like them being heartbroken.
I wanted to leave about a hundred pages for tomorrow but it looks like I need to bring the next book with me haha

oh, i love it. i so enjoyed how this one was structured and how it all played out. it’s hard to keep me engaged when there’s a split in a group and you have to bounce back and forth between the two story lines. also super hard to balance the perspectives of seven different characters and this book exemplifies how good rick riordan is at both. the reason these middle grade books transcend age so well is because they aren’t written in a juvenile way. it’s age appropriate but it’s also mature and serious and gripping. so close to the end !!!

Another extremely successful story in continuing the journey or our favorite demigods! Such fun watching our heroes’ journeys take them on different path to converge in the end. There are always so many battles and lessons learned it is always so exciting to see what around the next corner.
