Much as you would expect, if you've read other things by Will Eisner. And you should definitely read other Eisner comix before this one. My recommendation: New York: The Big City.

Interesting and clever. But the drawings are beautiful.

More slice of bizarre life on Dropsie street. The arranged marriage of two disabled adults is a bit creep and very old fashioned.

Minor Miracles is a collection of stories that we hear over bridge games or rummy in community hall of a locality or an apartment complex. A lore becomes part of the welcoming packet into a new community, gossiped by house maids and exaggerated by the neighbors.
With subdued artwork and Eisner's signature literary narrative, Minor Miracles isn't just a quick read. Its heartfelt.

I feel like I've read the stories before, but didn't recognize the pictures. Not sure what that's about
My favorite part of the book is the foreword, not that I didn't like the stories, just the magic of it was just what I needed
"It is hard to make a case for miracles.
Either you believe in them or you don't.
I believe in them."
