The complexities, the abandonment, the questions and craving for love, the author wanting to know what happens to kids who grow up to be "not nice", do their parents love them still?
it's a poignant question.
people and the way events occur, and how does that resonate with us, personally as well as socially
Emotions, feelings, gratitude, vocalizing your thoughts, social cues and norms, how difficult living just an ordinary life can be? are all such well explored themes in this novel.
Wonderful read, would love to come back to it in the future and revisit some ideas.
