Eine berührende Geschichte über einen Jungen, dessen Wahrnehmung von Gefühlen stark eingeschränkt ist. Ich musste beim Lesen ein paar Mal schwer schlucken und habe mir viele Fragen gestellt. In den kommenden Tagen werde ich bestimmt auch noch weiter über Yunjaes Gedanken und Beziehungen, seine Familie, den Professor und seine Freundschaften nachdenken. Das Buch ist super geschrieben und wird mir bestimmt lange im Gedächtnis bleiben. 🩷
Und dieses Coverdesign hat einen extra Stern verdient!

I loved this book. I read it because it's recommended by 방탄소년단 members. This book is easy to follow but its a lot to unpack as you go, so I listened to it slightly slower than I normally consume audiobooks. (Still in one sitting but at 2x instead of 2.5 or 3) It's very well translated and narrated.
The only thing that keeps it from getting 5☆ is that I dont love the ending. It felt kind of off and too sweet after everything. 
Would definitely recommend.

Such a sweet book, and the theme of empathy is very timely and needed in the context of what’s happening in the world. 

I loved how throughout the book, less so in the beginning and a few more times towards the end, I stumbled over an odd sentence. Something that didn’t seem like it’s from someone who doesn’t feel or understand feelings. This wasn’t ever on the nose, but done subtly, and really showed the development of the main character.
