"solamen miseris socios habuisse doloris"
Faustus asking for a wife and Mephastophilis being like ...uuuhh sure, and just giving him a demon clothed as a woman instead is both hilarious and an incredible metaphor that summarizes the entire play.

Some excellent scenes at the beginning and ending, but the middle scenes leave a lot to be desired. Worth reading

Rather disappointing. He sells his soul for limitless knowledge then wastes his time doing the stupidest, most trivial things.

Interesting take on the Faust tale; especially, compared to Goethe's version. But I still like the version by Goethe more.
