Keanu wrote a comic book and it's awesome. Keanu's writes a story about a mysterious unkillable killer (who looks exactly like Keanu), a berserker who quenches his insatiable bloodlust by doing wet-work for the US government, all while trying to piece together the mystery of his origin and how he can find a way to finally die.

The concept is essentially John Wick meets Wolverine, but cranked up to ludicrous levels. Immortal Keanu is 80,000 years old and can explode a man with his fists, and dismembers no fewer than 50 men with his bare hands within this books pages. The opening action sequence is balls-to-the-wall insane in it's level of violence (one of the more subdued kills is Keanu taking a man's pistol and then punching that same pistol through the man head).

Downside is it spends almost all of the rest of the book after that sequence doing backstory (with Caveman Keanu!) and while the violence remains ridiculous, it ends up looking like an extra-gory Conan story. It runs out of fun stuff to do as it slows down to sets up a second arc, so I am hoping when/if that comes out we get more modern-day setpieces.

It's dumb and fun and I 1000% want Keanu to get this optioned for a movie for him to star in.

Bullet Review:

The man of the 90's, Neo himself, wrote this, probably one of the most 90's nostalgic pieces I have seen in a hot minute. There are Manly Men, plenty of Gore and Violence, and waxing poetic on how meaningless life is.

Of all the celebrity comics I've read, this is quite possibly the best - that said, I still don't think it's all that great. Mostly the comic relies on the sheer quantity of gore and violence and comic versions of Keanu's ripped abs (not complaining BTW).

Just know what to expect when you are going into this and you will be happy. I mean, I watch a lot of junk movies and TV and listen to a lot of crap music because it makes me happy.
