I loved the first trilogy, but I didn't click as much with this one, and I really put off finishing it. By the time I picked up the conclusion, I had forgotten a significant portion of Call Down the Hawk and Mister Impossible, so I think I was less invested in some of the characters than I normally would be. I still enjoyed the characters and I adore Maggie's writing style.

I’ve been invested in these books a long time. Ronan Lynch is one of my favorite characters. So it pains me to not give this book five stars, but I just can’t.
I remember when Maggie started talking about this series, she talked about the spy thrillers she would steal from her dad. This book is like a dreamer trying to make that - not really the same thing, but still good. I think writing a supernatural spy thriller is possibly the most contradictory thing a person could do because what makes spy thrillers so tense is they are rooted in reality, so we understand and fear the consequences of the suitcase bomb or the loose nuke or the rogue submarine. The supernatural is the opposite of all of that.
But the Lynch brothers have a special place in my heart, always. And I am satisfied enough. It seems fitting that the last story about the dreamer Ronan Lynch should feel like there may be another dream, someday. Thank you, Maggie, for these characters.

End of the Dream Weaver series. It's definitely a nail-biter. Great surprises.
I did enjoy this finale to the series, and how all of it tied together, even to stuff from The Raven Cycle.
I think my favourite part were the characters. Particularly Declan stood out to me, which I never would have expected, but the rest was fun as well.
My biggest complaint was how so much of the finale happened off-page. In the middle of it we get a flashback (kinda?) and then things are fine, and we only get to hear about the action and what everyone got up to and how people were saved (or not) afterwards in a summary. That felt like a very bizarre choice for a climax?
Still, super fun series, I loved being with Ronan again, as well as the rest of the cast that grew on me over time

4/5 stars
This was a whirlwind of a book and so hard to put down. There were times I actually gasped aloud and many times I either came close to crying or did have a little sob. Albeit a little messy and a very fast paced ending, I overall really enjoyed it.

the lynch brothers being friends again I think broke me - I was so overwhelmed with emotions. Declan being the reason that Niall and Mor didn't get rid of Ronan in the first place, Declan doing everything to save Ronan, Declan loving Jordan with all his heart - how did I come out of this series with him as my favourite character?? I'm so glad he got his happy ending.
ronan lynch has been my most beloved character for years now, and i’ve finally reached the end of his journey. and what a journey it was! it’s been incredible following him to this point.
this series is really special to me — trc feels like a beloved teenaged adventure, while the dreamer trilogy takes a big step towards adulthood. i feel like i grew up *with* ronan, and i’m going to miss him desperately, but it was incredible to see him grapple with questions of identity and agency and come away stronger for it.
