It was so good. The ending lived up to my expectations and I’m so happy with it. I’ll be thinking about this series for a while

damn that sucked ass. at least hennessy and matthew were there!

I'm dead. This book killed me.

No seriously, how am I supposed to go on without these characters in my life anymore? Without this crazy, beautiful, impossible world Stiefvater has created? Without the intensity and humor and winding unpredictability of the plots? I loved this trilogy. It was in many ways very different from the Raven Cycle that gave rise to it, but the same heart, the same wonder, are there--the hallmarks of Stiefvater's books and the reason they resonate so deeply.

yikes..

Absolutely love these characters! Absolutely love this series! As soon as I picked it up I couldn't put it down because I just had to know what would happen. Maggie Stiefvater's writing style is the real magic here.
The only negative I have to say is the reveal of the "bad guy all along".
This book  finally got me to care a little about Carmen as a character, but I certainly don't care about her brother issues. Nathan being alive and the guy Ronan had to beat didn't really fit in with the rest of the story. Also Ronan realizes he is the all powerful creature and almost gets defeated by...some guy. I don't buy it lol. I thought at least Nathan would turn out to be some minor side character that was there all long. That would explain how he knew about Adam and Jordan but nooo
but it just goes to show ya, great characters matter more than perfect plot
