Satisfying end to a really cool series. I love the way Maggie Stiefvater writes.

“Magic is about intention. So are conversations.” - Maggie Stiefvater

I’ve been reading about these characters since I was sixteen. It’s still a little surreal to think that the world of The Raven Boys has finally come to a close.

I felt a bit let down by certain aspects (or better: the lack of thereof) but I couldn‘t bear to rate the finale of an overall very compelling, unique and beautiful series any lower than 4 stars (officially)

When I read the last word in this book, I almost cried.  Because this meant I would never read these seven novels (and one novella) for the first time again.  I could never see new adventures for the Raven Boys, Blue and the brothers Lynch.

But I thought the climax of this book was beautiful and I loved the epilogue at the end.

There are few series who touch on dreams and relationships the way Maggie does and I am so grateful to her for sharing this with the world.

As well, I listened to the audiobook for an immersive read.  Please, take the time to read and listen, because Will does a marvellous job.

What an ending to a series! I loved it! I found so much love for each of the brothers Lynch.

After not loving the 2nd book in the Dreamer Trilogy, I was absolutely thrilled with this conclusion to the story. The twists and reveals
Spoilerespecially surrounding Ronan and how he came into existence
were shocking and not something that I ever would have guessed, but in retrospect fit the story very well.

This instalment felt a lot tighter than the 2nd book, in both plot and pace. There was just the right amount of tension to keep me uncertain, until the very end, whether or not my favourite characters would get a happy ending.

Also, shout out to the Dreamer Trilogy in general for showing us all what a big softie Declan is. He deserves the world, and I'm genuinely sad to be moving on from this universe and the Lynch brothers.

This book gave me what I wanted, but somehow just didn’t feel quite as strong as the others. Still loved the writing though. I want to re-read the whole series in quick succession at some point.

the epilogue made it all worth it
