My experience reading this started as intrigue then lead to some anxiety and sadness back to intrigue. It kept me engaged and I overall enjoyed being on the inside of a girl gang based in history.

I really enjoyed watching this good girl go bad. It was fascinating being in the mind of her boss too. It’s fun to watch the twists and turns and try to guess who will come out on top. I didn’t love the ending but it wasn’t bad either. I did like the mini twist of the baby. I don’t get the fascination with jimmy or any of the men but it kept me hooked!

There were storyline inconsistencies. The writing was awful. I just did not like it. I tried, I just couldn’t get into it.
