Hmm, i have mixed feelings about this. I think it was okay in general, but it was written too much like a wattpad story. I think it would have been better had we have been given more of arianna's backstory. And that thing where

ruadan had to take off arianna's clothes to "transfer the energy"?

that was proper strange. Also ruadan was

an incubus?

this book was so wattpad like i cant believe i just read that

the back arches, the growling, the “bug-out” bag??? the fact that ruadan is an

incubus/demigod/fae

??? the really strange “training” arianna and ruadan did where they basically had sex with their clothes on????? the fact that arianna’s ONLY reason for liking that one fae girl was because she gave her a strawberry???? the fact that every other character basically didn’t exist outside arianna’s little bubble????????? good god i cant believe there’s more to this

It was okay. I feel like this book may have just been to set up info for the series
I found it far too slow, with both too much and not enough world building. The information I was given felt irrelevant. I won't be finishing the series.
