Letto durante una vacanza al mare. Come sempre coinvolgente e con un'ottima trama, anche se mancano forse un po' i colpi di scena perché è tutto un po' lineare. Comunque leggere Follet è sempre un piacere

reread: god i love this book so much

i found this book in my mom's library. the story seemed interesting, so i decided to give it a try, and i wasn't disappointed! i vividly recommend this book to anyone interested in the space race :)

Muy diferente del Follett de Los Pilares de la Tierra, pero entretenido igual. Me gustó la temática que mezcla elementos de novela negra y espionaje con la historia de la carrera espacial en plena guerra fría entre EE.UU. y Rusia. Mola que la historia se vaya desarrollando poco a poco, y que vayas aprendiendo cosas de lo sucedido y de los personajes al mismo tiempo que el propio protagonista los descubre.

The plot is clever - heck, I was impressed at the misdirection by the end of the book - but the execution is flawed. Too many convenient coincidences cheapen the ultimate resolution of the story.
