This book sees Sinead O’Connor describe some of the things that happens in her life. It’s not a complete, or thorough biography, more… a description of episodes that happened in her life.

It’s a depressing read. She says she’s doing okay, but admits she has… problems, throughout the book. I admire her openness, but she was a handful to live with, and had some dreadful experiences I think. It isn’t always clear what caused her challenges, but her mother has a lot to answer for. For that I admire openness, but it can be depressing to read.

I think this is one of my favorite memoires to date. It's unapologetic, sometimes funny, honest, and insightful. Sinead's poetic voice sings through the whole book and her critics of the music industry are profound.

Such a remarkable person who lived a tragic but also compelling life and was never anything but her truest self. Also I related when she said it was evil to take away her iPad before she went to the psych ward
