Such a remarkable person who lived a tragic but also compelling life and was never anything but her truest self. Also I related when she said it was evil to take away her iPad before she went to the psych ward

- like all memoirs, I wish there was more
- I loved that she narrated her own audiobook, loved that she’d chuckle as she told her childhood stories
- you can tell it was written over the course of YEARS with a major gap from 1990s-2016(?) for her mental health issues which she explains in the book
- a large portion is her explaining her album journey, which feels like filler for this gap — but I get it and I appreciate her
- incredibly spiritually honest
- the ending was so hopeful and forward looking 🥺
