Great to hear the author's story. But the story felt so hard to follow because it jumps around in time so much. It felt disorganized and disorienting. Some stories and anecdotes started but never had an ending. Also stressful to live inside someone else's anxiety, hard for me to read. I didn't connect with his voice or emotions very easily.

Reading Elliot's story took me quite some time due to the heaviness of their traumas. I deeply loved hearing his story and am so thankful that he is able to share it.

"It is not trans people who suffer from a sickness, but the society that fosters such hate."

This book was incredible. Heart wrenching and brave and so important. Grateful to Elliot Page for sharing his story with the world.

I highly recommend listening to the audio book, it is read by Elliot himself. Definitely check content warnings before reading.
